Day Fifteen: Hikers on the Trail Ahead

A party of five hikers was about 40 minutes ahead of us. You can see them silhouetted against the snow field on the right side of the picture. They (and we) are headed for the notch in the ridge just left of center. You can see the large cairn standing like a post at the notch. There were six of these ridges to cross on our hike that day.
