Vienna
is a half-day's drive from Budapest. After a picnic lunch in Prater Park,
we find our hotel not far from Schörnbrunn Palace. We booked hotels
on this trip not particularly cozy, picturesque, or full of character.
We emphasized accessibility and affordability, and all qualified more
or less in those categories. We find Hotel Kavalier remarkable for the
number of tour buses that stay one night and move on.
