Old Town Hall is one of the most striking buildings on Old Town Square in Prague. A private home was converted for public use in 1338 when King John of Luxemburg agreed to set up a town coucil. The tower was added in 1364. It is surrounded by Gothic and Renaissance houses. Lots of tourists gather on the hour in front of the astonomical clock, to watch the apostles march around.
