We race down to Old Town Square to catch the mechanical clock (left) action at 4 p.m.. We are just getting comfortable at a cafe table at 5 p.m. when it happens again, accompanied by pealing of the bells in the twin towers of the Tyn Churchchurch. The bellringers are visible at their work through the tall doorways on both sides of the gold disk ( a figure of Mary).
